Host of the Cyber Security Week
The HSD Campus is the national innovation centre of the Dutch security cluster, with living labs, education and training facilities, flexible office space, innovation rooms and meeting rooms. Businesses, governments and knowledge institutions from across the country collaborate at the campus to harvest knowledge, and develop products and services that contribute to a safer and more secure world.
The HSD Campus is serving as an inspiring place to meet entrepreneurs, students and professionals in the security cluster. It is home to the educational programs of the new Cyber Security Academy (CSA) and European Network for Cyber Security (ENCS) and it is the place where SME Connect will provide security entrepreneurs with advice.
On the 13th of February 2014, Minister Opstelten (Security and Justice) and Mayor Van Aartsen (municipality of The Hague) have officially opened the HSD Campus. Minister Opstelten: "Security issues are becoming increasingly important and complex. Thus, cooperation between government, industry and science is very important. The new HSD Campus offers plenty of space for these public-private partnerships and encourages innovations in the security domain."
Since the official opening of the HSD Campus 23 organisations have established themselves permanently at the HSD Campus. Amongst them are the Dutch National Police, Dutch Tax Office, the Cyber Security Academy, TNO's Cyber Lab, HCSS, Fox-IT, Thales, HSD-Office, and innovative SMEs such as Authasas, iCOPP and Crowdsense. In combination with the many events organised by the partners of HSD, the HSD Campus has become a true security hub.
