Cyber security has become essential for the functioning of banks, industries, governments, businesses, and individuals. In fact, our whole society depends on a reliable and safe internet. Many of the innovations at the Innovation Room have been developed by multi-stakeholder cooperation. This emphasises the shared responsibility of businesses, governments, and knowledge institutions (together called the triple-helix) to protect society against cyber threats. The Hague Security Delta (HSD), the largest security cluster in Europe, has successfully facilitated this triple helix cooperation with a focus on: creating more business activity, more jobs, and a secure world.
With the Innovation Room, the Netherlands presents its cyber security innovation force to the rest of the world.
During the Nuclear Security Summit, held in The Hague in April 2014, an innovation room on event security was also hosted at the HSD Campus. Watch the video to get an impression of what to expect at the Innovation Room during the Cyber Security Week.
