The NCSC ONE Conference is a two-day conference on 13-14 April, which will be held this year for the thirteenth time. The ONE Conference is organised by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), part of the Ministry of Security and Justice.
The goal of the ONE conference is to establish a multi-stakeholder forum that brings together industry, government and academic interests in an effort to improve the state of cyber security on both a domestic and international level. Each stakeholder brings unique insights from their expertise in the disciplines of emerging technologies, operations and enforcement, academic and pragmatic experience. Various topics are discussed such as incident response for individuals and companies, cyber security in the Internet of Things age, strengthening critical infrastructure and strategies for public-private partnerships. The ONE conference hosts more than 800 professionals, thereby creating a unique opportunity to network, learn about the latest developments and share insights.
This year, the ONE conference is organised in close cooperation with the Global Conference on Cyber Space (GCCS 2015), held in the same week and at the same venue. Many of the topics explored at a technical level at the ONE conference will be also be discussed on a strategic level during the subsequent GCCS2015. In addition, cyber security products developed for the ONE conference will be shared with the public of the GCCS2015. This link between the two conference provides unique opportunities for participants of the ONE conference to help set the international policy agenda of the GCCS2015!
