The Dark Web has emerged as a digital space that facilitates “high tech” and organized crime. This workshop creates a common future picture: how to police the Dark Web for enhanced public security? Which actors should be involved, how should they be organised, how should they operate? Which capabilities, resources and innovations are to be developed to fight crime on the Dark Web effectively?
These questions will be addressed through a creative and open-minded dialogue. We will focus on cryptomarkets, as illegal trade of drugs, weapons, and on the rapidly growing crime-as-a-service. Sharing of best-practices among European security professionals will be facilitated and a common agenda will be formulated.
This event is part of the European Horizon 2020 project MEDIA4SEC and is invitation only.
This event is fully booked. Registration of interest has closed.
