How to predict & mitigate future (cyber) attacks using data science and Artificial Intelligence

open

Nowadays many organisations use datascience and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve the security of organisations and persons. These techniques are used to collect and structure data and to predict future (cyber) attacks. But (cyber) criminals use the same techniques. How can we stay one step ahead of them? The extensive possibilities of data science and AI techniques create many opportunities to help make the world a safer place. What are the opportunities? And how do they interfere with privacy & privacy regulations? We will explain which techniques are used, how they work and how they are applied in the use case of a governmental institution, Municipality of The Hague, and public persons. We will illustrate the various levels of research, from the level of an entire organisation to employees and VIP’s (CEO Fraud, social media).
