The challenges of being a privacy focussed company


For over 15 years the large American tech-companies gathered massive amounts of data of its users on a worldwide scale. As a result those companies were able to monetize this data creating multi-billion dollar companies. It might be that Europe is way behind on innovation, but Europe is making a difference now on how to manage and process data within the GDPR legislation.

When being a privacy-focussed company, there are many opportunities but also challenges to become a worldwide player. This presentation will provide background information on the worldwide challenges -but also on a smaller scale within The Netherlands- and will provide solutions on how we can work together to make a
difference from within Europe.
